Great SiG Trijicon HD Install on my XD! Wait, Huh? (Pic Heavy)

I was getting a little impatient waiting for the Orange Front HD's to come in when James gave me an alternative - SIG HD's. Evidently, the XD and XDm use the same dovetail as a Sig Sauer. The standard Sig sights #8 Front #8 Rear are the same as the "G" marked XD sights and are interchangeable. Added Bonus - the design of the Sig sights are easier to emergency rack than the rear swept XD versions.

James did a great job on the install and he was extremely patient with my questions and concerns. Not sure I can do it justice but here are some pics of the Sig sights on my XD 45 Compact. You be the judge but I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Took this pic after I charged the front sight for approximately 20 seconds with my Surefire G2x...

Very cool. Just curious as to how well those rear sights are held in. It may make it easier to rack, but would that put too much pressure on the sights? I have no Idea how those sights are secured or how much pressure racking would actually put on them....just thinking out loud here.
Great looking sights by the way, I still need to look into getting some of those for my carry gun.

Thanks. The SIG sights are installed just like any other Trijicon HD sight and emergency racking is one of the features they highlight. So I'm not all that concerned about that.

Unless the price has changed, I paid $120.50 with free installation for the sights and $9.50 for the return shipping ($130 total).

The price of HD`s are the same except for the SW M&P and 1911 those are more expensive.
