James response to my complaints ...

So I was told James is going to respond and give his side of the story to my complaints. I did not want to further hijack another thread so I created this one for the response. I could not use the original since it was locked.

For reference -- Here is my original post/complaint.

My VERY bad experiance with James ...

What I want is an apology for not returning my calls/emails about the defective sight and my old sights. A refund for the shipping of the sight to tru-glow and both my original sights back -- I have asked for them several times and they are mine to keep not his to take.

I understand your frustrations but I dont see the need in creating a thread and asking for a public appology.

Geez! A separate thread now. Many of us are tired of hearing about it...move on man; you are boring us with this gripe of yours.

That is severely annoying. I can't speak for everyone, but honestly, I don't care about your problems with James. If you read other peoples threads about their problems and you still sent it to him, then its your own fault.

You have to remember, he probably is a busy guy like everyone else. Relax and little, give it some time and don't post multiple threads about it. I don't think anyone really cares.

4-14-07 to 7-29-07 should probably be enough time.

I was told earlier today on another post that he was going to respond to my complaint here on the forum.

I created this post so not to hijack the other thread and give him a place to respond. HE CAN NOT respond to the original because it was locked.

This is my last post on the topic unless he responds.

If I remember right, you did send e-mail but here to the xdtalk sight, I went several months not even logging in to the website. The PM here is not e-mail. Phone calls not returned did you block caller ID? and sights not returned I never promise to return sights anywhere, I dont promise becuase about 1/4 of the sights break, or are really dinged up. For overnighting post office express can not in every zip code make over night. I still paid 18.80 or so to express mail the slides but you were in a two day zip code package was sent express though. On the slip would have told the exact time accepted for the package. And other than you a couple months back I dont think there has been a single complaint, becuase I did do several changes when I was closed (I think you sent me your stuff when I was closed I cant remeber). Basically yes I did get alot of complaints, I am one person and I fixed most of the issues. But sometimes the post office does damage a package that will be returned (sorry John P or actually loose a slide (yes I had one that was lost going to TX and I when I get the frame for the lost slide the customer has a new pistol waiting for them). But no one should have promissed you I would reply to you here on the talk group, I dont know who did but I am replying on my own, becuase I want to.

When I installed your sights was your slide damged at all?
Where the sights new and in perfect condition when you recived them?
Were they centered and shoot left to right center?
Did I promiss to return the old sights?
Did you package arrive express mail?

Sometimes I was so busy I could not get to every e-mail or phone call........but in the last couple of months there should be no one who did not caller block their phone number or send me an e-mail, pm, shout out, text message, myspace message, or any other message on any talk group I belong to and that is a lot, who did not recive a message back. Why because I took the time while closed and fixed a lot of admitted problems.

As for taking so long sorry, again in the last couple of months there should be only one person who can say I took over 3 days to install any set of sights. I dont promiss any customer any thing for saying any good thing here at the talk group, so I dont recive alot of great feed back in all honesty I should not for doing my job, I average about 3-4 sight installs a day at least for the last 3-4 years( I cant remember) and 3-4 coatings a week so the amount of negative feedback well yea I have upset some. But I will guarantee you that Min 75% of the members here have bought something or had me work/fix something of theirs. And for the people who call and I cant do something or dont have something they need without hesitation I will send them to the other sponsers.

I just reread your original post........I have never purposely sold a defective sight. Again I dare any memeber to call me out If I installed your sights to tell the world I installed a bad set of sights for you or a set that was off and did not shoot straight. And furthermore that if that set was bad and you returned the slide if I did not adjust them for free. As far a the paint flaking off TFOs are blued and you did not let me know the sight arrived damaged. Is there any one else who I sent you messed up sights. Oh yea last year someone said I installed the rear sight of an XS sight in backwards that I just dont remember becuase I always look down the sights and make sure everything lines up.

James can and does control the threads/post
on his forum commercial space. He can open
or close/delete as he can moderate his own
space. We mods have the capability to do so,
but we do not as that is what I would call
'rented' space.

Very seldom do I even enter the commercial
sponsors space because that is areas which
they, as commercial sellers who have purchased
the privilege, also have the privilege to
moderate it.

I just stumbled over this thread as I thought
it might be interesting to see and read from the
title.

Wow!! I sure did not know this was going on.

Looks like the laundry has been washed once
and hung out to dry, why drop it in the mud
and rewash it again?

We all know that problems arise. I am sure that
James will come around.

Over the years, I have done many $$ worth of
business with him and have been satisfied with
his service and products.

This type of particular thread is also a first.

Personally, and not posting as a mod, I do not
like it. Had a derogatory type of thread or post
like this would have happened in one of the
other forum rooms, then I would have excersized
my mod authority.

Dont close it,
I responded and I am waiting for all of the broken sights I sold to all the the members here. Or the memebers who I coated a slide for and a year or two down the road had wear on their slide, gave me a call and did not warrent my work and said I would recoat it for free. Try that with some other refinishers. A year after a coating you have wear.....sure no problem send it back to me and I will recoat it for free.

Dirt air yes but ED I have admitted problems and as I stated I have fixed things and am almost 100% on returning all comunications. I also dont know who closed the first thread.
