Mil Spec Off to Ajames for Digi Camo!
(This is posted in the 1911 area as well)
I bought this gun from forum member, Verm, well over a year ago with the intent upon building it up a bit! Since I bought it I have had dovetails cut and Truglo TFO's installed. I installed a new (I can't recall the weight exactly...18 lbs?) Wolfe spring. James of XD-HS2000.com will install new Ed Brown controls of, extended thumb safety, memory groove grip safety, slide stop, and extended mag release. Verm had already installed a Wilson trigger and mag well. Here are links to some before pictures. http://www.xdtalk.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=337 http://www.xdtalk.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=336 http://www.xdtalk.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=335 __________________

I had a local 'smith cut them and install the TFO's. I believe he did the Kimber sites. I'm not sure he's the guy you want to ship to, though a good guy, I would look toward someone who does some internet/on-line shipping and receiving. How about Canyon Creek?
You should have the gun and the HS slide this afternoon...via UPS. Someone mentioned that maybe we (meaning you) could lower and flare the ejection port...you're not set up with a mill are you? (Likely not by asking if I knew someone to cut a dovetail! On an unrelated note, I think I'll have you refinish my HS slide while you have it...save a bit on shipping if I ever decide to do it down the road!
