The long awaited sight tool for XD's
MGW has finally released the new XD specific sight tool. It is supposed to work with all models, including the XD45. However, it will not reach the front sight on any of the Tactical models. There is a warning on the tool that states it is not designed to remove extremely tight factory rear sights.
I have not had a chance to try one out yet.

I would be interested to know if it is tall enough to fit the Dawson adjustable sights. The tenons look shallow, but it could just be the pict.

Is this the same MGW that makes the shifter for my Mustang?

Logo looks the same to me. And their Custom CNC page shows what looks like a sight pusher.

I miss my Mach and my MGW shifter.

Hi Scott,
I took some measurements that should help. The maximum dimensions are .700" wide and using my XD40 slide the maximum height from top of the slide is .230". I don't have any rear Dawson's to confirm. It does work with Tru-Glo's.

Adjustable Dawson's fronts need .295 and XS Sights need .245 so you might want to add a disclaimer for those. It would be nice to have a "little" pusher for sight in range trips. Thanks!
