Taking apart an XD?
Is there a complete set of step-by-step instructions for taking the gun completely apart? I don't have the money to have the gun coated so I'd like to do it myself. Otherwise is it ok to just mask everything and use a non-baking coat? Any other ideas that will keep me from sending my gun out basically?

Perfect. Exactly what I needed. I appreciate it. Yeah, I learned to field strip it when I got it home yesterday. Easy as pie.

I vote yes? Sounds like I need it. Otherwise I'm sure the webpage link would suffice...
