High temp bearing grease from your local auto parts store will do. $4 worth will last years and years.

There is no "Common Sense Gun Regulation". There is only unconstitutional gun restriction.

I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.

PS: NEVER lube the firing pin, channel, or spring. Clean it WELL and leave it DRY. If gunk builds up in there, you can get light strikes.

All my guns run wet because it is the oil that keeps the moving parts separated and keeps the crud wet and soft.

If your going to the range be generous. If you are keeping it loaded for defense or carry use sparingly.

When storing a firearm I will oil it liberally but when I pull it out to use it I will wipe off the excess oil. For my EDC I will lightly oil it...basically put a little Mobile 1 Extended performance on my fingers and evenly apply it on the barrel and use a Q-Tip for the area where the slide attaches to the polymer sections since there is a lot of friction in this area when fired...
