Changing FO front sight on XDM 525

I just picked up a brand new 525 9mm and would like to know what's the best method to replace the FO element on the front post. Can someone link me up a video or description on how best to install a new element?

Thanks!

PS, I shot my third USPSA match yesterday with this gun after only shooting 50 rounds through it just the night before. I got 5th/19 in my Division. This is going to be one great competition gun

UPDATE:

Answered my own question again with the following video:

Thanks for sharing that. I just picked up an XDm 5.25 yesterday, and was disappointed that the little bag with the fiber optic rods and the tools didn't have any instructions.

A lot of my range's targets have red on them, which makes the red front sight a little harder to use. I have a Browning Buckmark with a green fiber optic front sight and it works great. I'll be changing the XDm soon. Just from shooting it yesterday -- great gun.

Yeah, I'm not sure of that little X-shaped thing is a tool or just some cool trinket for your key chain

Yeah, now that the manual has been updated. You come into this thread about two months later. The manual that I got with my 525 was just a reprint of the 4.5 manual, as are all the early 525 manuals.

Its simple

If you have the fiber optic replacement, insert front to rear, and protrude the fiber rod very little to the rear, grab a lighter and without touching the flame on the optic let it melt to form a little ball and stop. then cut the rod in front and do the same. its simple.
