Tetra Gun Grease for me. FTI, Inc. - Tetra Gun Care Products
Until you can get this or the Frog lube secured. The basic Winchester CLP will work great.

As far as what to use:
1. Go to store and buy some cleaner and some lube.
2. Clean your gun.
3. Lube it.
I think any common gun cleaning/lubing products will help keep your gun running longer than you or anyone here will be alive.
As far as how to, typically on these - little is more. I dry clean the inside of the slide and frame using a toothbrush (not mine, someone else's), no lube there... the only place I put lube anymore is 2 drops per side on the rail, one in front and one in back and some on the barrel. I use a bore snake for the inside of the barrel, quick and easy job.
Once put together I rack the slide 5-6 times, (whatever feels good, more if I'm cranky).

Not the post I was thinking of but... post 53
Best gun cleaner?
There was another one that did a bunch of hands on with gun cleaners oils and lubes but I couldn't find it under a search.

Also, don't lube the firing pin!
I use Hoppe's No.9 for the cleaning,
Hoppe's Elite Oil for the lubing. (Got a combo sale, but the oil does stick around nicely)
