I have put about 900 rounds thru my XD9 and just last week had my first ftf. It was the cartridge. Dimple in the primer but it would not fire. When I first got the XD, fired it as often as I wanted( got a small range just off the back porch.Feel sorry for those that have to wait to go shoot.) Didn't clean it to see if there would be a problem, and one never occured.Used all kinds of ammo. It eats everything. LOVE NY XD'S Sub and 4".

Hung up? As in the primer was struck, but the round didn't fire? 3 in one box of 50 seems high. I've only had this happen to me shooting 410 out of a Taurus Judge.

Hard primer? Probably not crud in the striker channel because it is a new XDM.
