Sorry guys, but I bought another new toy, a Hi-Point 9mm carbine rifle. I wanted this to use for experimentation..to see how this ugly rifle would perform and to try a pistol caliber rifle with minimal costs. Happy tp say the gun is very crude but shoots well. I intend to paint it camo colors and have been studying the internet to learn the process of prep work as well as the science of painting. I am back though and I usually read the forums at lesast twice a week. As far as the XD 45, I continue to shoot it at least once per week and am very happy with it.

Great looking gun Curtis. Mine is all Black but I still love the way it shoots. By the way guys I am sorry about the above post, in the wrong area, but I was at work and saw the notification that I had not posted anything in a while and just clicked on reply without thinking. As far as the Hi Point thing, as stated, it is an experiment. I love my XD and my Taurus guns the best
