your imagining things..
I'm kidding, but could be due to slightly heavier bullet weight OR slightly faster burn rate. Some cheaper powders burn faster.

I was gonna say faster powder. Would make a big difference when it comes to shoving that fatty bullet out.

I reload most of my ammo, but last month i was out of bullet components due to not casting any lately, so i bought a box of 100 WWB ammo, and my experience was similar to yours. They kicked like they were +P's or something. During that shooing secession, i shot up some JHP's that were stout, but they didn't kick like the WWB ammo.

I've found that Blazer 230gr does have more felt recoil than WWB 230gr. It's either the powder differences between the two (burn rate) or the grains of powder each uses for a given FPS loading.

Another vote for differences in the powder.
