Help on sights
Looking for some help with sights. I have an XD service model, this pistol is used for "action pistol" events. I need a larger dot for my front sight picture, yes I'm getting older. I also like the Hienie slant type rear sights.
I'm looking for reccommendations. Brand, type, height, why you like them, and who did the work. Any pictures will be appreciated. Thanks to any and all who respond. |

Welcome to the forum! Lots and lots of discussion on sights. Justs run a search. I prefer the TFO sights, tritium fiber optic. They are great for my 50+yr eyes, very bright day or night. Highlyrecommend them. But you'll get lots of opinions. James at xd-hs2000 installs all of my sights, he has lots of experience with XD sights (don't trust your local gunsmith XD sights can be a royal pain to remove/install!!!).

If bigger dot is what you need, look into the XS Big Dot sights

Ditto on the Big Dots. They're not for precision shooting, but they're easy to see, and they're quick to acquire.
