Truglo TFO Front Sight Height

Anyone know what the front sight height is for Truglo TFO front sight? I have Dawson Precision FO Front Sight that was installed when I had my rear sight installed and frankly it really doesn't work well at night. The gunsmith that installed the sight mentioned it was two-forty front sight height and I suppose he wanted that height for a reason. Rear sight is Bomar Adjustable melded into the slide. Anyway, I can't find any information on how tall the TFO front sight is. Perhaps if I'm in the general range of two-forty I can always adjust my rear sight elevation. I'm not sure cuz I'm not an expert gunsmith, I just know my .45 consistently hits the center ring at all distannces up to 25 yards and the bullet goes where I point the front sight so I'm happy about the accuracy at this point, I just want more night time sight acquisition capability. Appreciate any comments or suggestions.

Thanks lethal. I spoke with my gunsmith that melded my rear sight into the slide. He mentioned that .250 would work and that I shouldn't go more that 10 thousandths beyond that. I might have to adjust rear elevation. I might stick with what I have and just use a flashlight mount on the picatinny rail mount. I figure if I have to use force or deadly force maybe shining a flashlight in perps eyes will give me a slight advantage. I just need to find a holster or some sort of ccw capability to carry my pistol at night. I might just get a maxpedition jumbo or something.

Glad I found this post... I just ordered my very first XD and was thinking about throwing a TFO front with a Warren Tactical rear.... Ended up just doing a Trijicon front.
