The feed ramp is part of your barrel. It is a ramp leading to the barrel chamber. Don't mess with it unless you have feeding problem and based on your question, I wouldn't mess with it.

It makes the subsequent posters look like idiots, I saw the original question before he deleted it, it was, as you said, about what a feed ramp is. Nothing wrong with that, that's what were here for, to share info and experience.

I don't know if I'd go straight to "low-life"...but it certainly isn't very considerate.

However, as opposed to being some kind of low-life, this person could merely be someone with very little experience on Internet forums..and isn't mindful of proper etiquette.

His low post count shows he doesn't have much experience on this particular forum (of course my post count isn't very high either...but I've got years of experience on various other forums).
