What Upgrades recommended
I have a XD45C Tactical and have decided to do some upgrades to it and was wondering what would be the first thing you all would recommend for a first upgrade?

From what I've seen here, the most common upgrades are sights and trigger jobs. Next would be accessories like the UpLULA or a light/ laser attachement.

I got Dawson adjustable sights but just to tune the 5" barrel in more easily than the stubborn OEM sights.

+1 for Sights and Trigger. Neither is bad from the get go, but it is a huge improvement with aftermarket gear.

I was amazed that by simply polishing the the sear and trigger assembly, anywhere that metal rubs, the trigger pull is much smoother, and seems a little bit lighter.
I would go for a trigger overtravel stop only 12 bucks: Powder River Precision and then I am really interest in the Sure Sight Triangle, Tritium Night Sights 129.99 plus installation: Sure Sight - The Newest Idea in Accurate Shooting then eventually I'll get the match grade trigger kit 48.75: Powder River Precision

Do yourself a favor and get a Powder River Striker Safety Lever and one of Daniel's new Overtravel Stops.
The shorter pull and faster reset needs to be felt to be appreciated. I can't believe I used to say that the trigger on the XD was OK before I did mine. Now I KNOW its nice. Only bested by my 1911's (and not by too much either).
