Springfield Armory store sale
Just popped by the Springfield website to look up some info on XDs, and saw they're having a 20% off sale on everything in the store for the rest of July 2008. I grabbed 3 XD-45 13 round magazines for $71.35 shipped, which works out to $23.78 each. Pretty good, considering my local range sells them for $39.95 each, plus tax! Now looks like a good time to stock up on magazines if you've been thinking about doing so.

that is a bad price for the mags from SA, but your range is really trying to stick it to you guys at 40 a pop.

Yeah, no kidding. Their prices for range time and ammo are pretty good, as well as on the guns they've got in stock, but it seems like all of their accessories are through the roof. If it makes any difference, they only keep the XD-45 compact 13-rounders (with grip extension) in stock. I've asked them if they stock the standard 13-rounders and they said that "there's no point because you can just remove the grip extension and use the magazine in your service model." Still, $40 is a lot for any magazine.

That's pretty good pricing. I picked up 3 for my XD45 from Midway for about $25 each a couple weeks ago.

Look for the Mag Pack. I picked up one locally for $39.00. Comes with a Springfield Case, 3 13 round mags and a dual mag holster. I think I have seen some other people post about it also.

Any suggestions on where to go for better mag pricing or what a fair price should be? I was about to jump on this sale for more magazines, but if there's a better deal out there, please point me in the right direction. Thanks!

If you're ordering a handful, CDNN has good prices on SA mags. Their shipping starts at $15 flat, though, so order several or some other stuff with it.

GilbertsGuns.com - Federal XM193 223 Ammunition, Truglo TFO Night Sights, Saiga High Capacity Magazines did have them for $45. I see the .40 and 9mm but not the .45. Might be able to call them and get it.
