I use an HSGI thigh holster for my Glock 17 and XD9 (both fit in the same holster). I tried it with a buddies XD45C and it fit perfectly also. Give it a look see. HSGI makes some damn good gear.
High Speed Gear Inc. Call to order 1-877-301-2116 I used a bunch of their gear when I was stationed out in Jacksonville, NC and it rocked. I've infact got to order up one of their POPPER chest rigs soon.

This is true. And you have the added advantage of it's modularity. The holster piece can be swapped between a thigh rig, shoulder rig, and can be attached to the paddle or belt slide attachment basically giving you a holster than can do it all. Though it won't really be excellent at any one thing it will be okay at it all.
