Hello! XD45 slide dissasembly lever question.

I was dissasembling my XD45 and the lever popped out after I got the slide off. Not completely out, just halfway. I played with it for a minute and it went back in. It's snug like now and everything seems to be working properly.
I was just wondering if this is normal?
I didn't notice anything like a clip fall off, and didn't see anything machined into the lever (although I didn't look to closely at the lever).

Thanks!

yup its normal. allthough i have never had mine just slip out. when i want to take it out i actually have to wiggle it out. but even so its not going to come out with the slide on so nothing to worry about

That's normal. Here's how to remove it and replace it.

Thanks, I sure didn't push it out, it just fell out. But like I said, it's back in all snug like!

If you twist it clockwise and pull, it will pop right out. Do the same and it goes back in. I was afraid to do a complete disassembly prior to installing the new trigger kit from PRP, and now I would not hesitate to take it apart to clean the front-end after shooting.
