Bought a SA XD45 4"

I own Glocks and had a Sig P220,I recently traded my G17 for a never fired SA XD45 4" in the box with the XD gear and I'm very happy with this guns performance.IMO the SA XD has a better trigger feel and a better grip angle then my Glocks, she just feels a lot better in the hand.I put 100 rounds through her and she's very accurate and feed with no problems.I would recommend this pistol to anyone looking for a nice 45.

I'm a Armored Car driver and this is my new duty weapon which I carry in a Black Hawk Sepra holster.Where only allowed to carry FMJ ammo because we do the Tri state area(Phila/NJ/DE)and NJ has a ban on hollow points and that's why I wanted to drop my G17 9mm and move up to a 45acp for work.

Congratulations on your new XD 45.

Too bad the tri-state area you work in, is ignorant of HP ammo and the collateral dammage hard ball ammo can cause.

I want another SA XD now.I think I will get a SA XD45 Tactical stainless in a couple months. These pistols kick Glocks butts IMO.I still have a couple Glocks but this SA XD45 service model has become my favorite handgun in my collection.

Welcome to the world of XDs. I also have a XD45 Service and I love it. Only problem you might encounter is what will be the next XD you will want to buy. Enjoy! From Minnesota.

I have a 45 XD Service and love it! It's what I use and carry everyday with no problems.

Send it to Springer for a combat/carry trigger job and you'll never carry anything else.

I also have the service 45 and love it. I live in NJ and have federal EFMJ's (expanding full metal jackets) Look into those for they seem to be the next best thing to hollow points.
