Dry firing?

Does repetitive dry firing harm the XD?

Not that I know of.... some say yes. I dry fire 2 or 3 times a week. My oldest XD is a year old. No problems yet.

I dry fire all the time. You may have to replace the striker retainer roll pin eventually. They're cheap.

The manual says its ok... Good enough for me, if it breaks thats what the warranty is for.
