Finally!!! Its here!!!
XD Tactical .45 Test firing date of 6/2/2008. This is only my second handgun (the first was a 9mm SKYY. rookie mistake. too small for my hands and I kept accidentally tripping that damn two sided safety lever). Anyway.. this newbie put 100 rounds downrange and to my surprise 98 of them went pretty close to where I thought they should go. Recoil is good and its easy to bring the sights back on target. I still have alot to learn, trigger pull , sight picture etc. but I seem to have picked a fine tool. and as a woodworker I know the value of having a good tool!! I will post pictures as soon as I figure out how to include them in a post

"FUN" is putting it mildly!!! Love it!! Gotta figure out a way to put way more ammo in the budget!!
 Oh yeah.. cleaning supplies.. and range time.. whew!! lotsa $$$ but well worth it..
