I'll assume you are hanging on the "Coming Soon" part, interesting they don't know XD45ACP models. Just realize lasers do not work that well in lighted conditions nor are they a replacement for a good tactical flashlight. I have seen and dinked around with the county SWAT team SIGs with Crimson Trace grips and was pretty impressed. To me the grip activated switch is a little better than the take down lever type, but you do still have to turn them on. One plus is you can control the on and off with your middle finger.

Yes, on a S&W 642 J frame, I like it on snubbies w/gutter sights. I have TFO night sights on my XD's.

What I don't like about it is if you activate the laser to soon, you now give away your position, and intention.
