IMHO, in the XD platform ACP is better than GAP. Why? 13+1 mag capacity in ACP 9+1 in GAP. Just my two cents.
P.S. Yes I know that they put GAP in the same frame as the 9mm and 40cal.

They still make the XD in GAP? Not what you would call the greatest success story of all time. Even the company that came up with the idea is having a hard time moving them.

How do you figure (Haycreek) the GAP is less expensive to reload than the ACP? I reload the ACP, use Rainier or Berry copper coated bullets (180, 200 and 230 grainers) and a very small charge of Clays. Just curious. Same bullet, same primer, and 1x fired ACP brass is less expensive and more plentiful.

IIRC the 45 GAP was created for those in You're a Peon Countries where they are not allowed "military cartridges"

Trade in value of .45 GAP guns is also reduced (all things being equal) compared to more popular caliber guns. Something to think about if you are a tradeaholic.
