My wife dropped my 45 getting it out of the bag yesterday. landed on the butt of the grip "empty mag well" and bounced onto the top of the slide. After sliding 3 feet I picked it up and wiped it off. Only minor scratches, the finish is alot tougher than I thought. I will eventually post pics, but there is really nothing to see. Loose gravel is no match for the XD. I almost thought she was going to give me an excuse to send it off for some custom work, oh well.
