I have this buddy here at my work, who sits right across from me. We went out to the range one day, and I let him shoot my XD. Well, ever since that day, he has practically obsessed over getting a compact 45. At least twice a week, I could count on him asking about them, or talking about them.

Well, since he got some money from the guv-mint back, he went and finally purchased his compact XD45. He wanted the Dark Earth, but settled on the all black model.

I have told him about this place and shown him some threads from here, but I don't think he is too quick to join. Oh well. I think we will get out sometime and break it in.

Another XD owner has joined the fold.

It's good to let the sickness spread.

I shot a friend's 45 tactical compact about a year ago and I've thought about it a lot since. I finally bought one in December. Flat Dark Earth

That's what happened to me, co-worker bought one and I was so impressed with all of the reviews and testing that I bought one before I shot it!

Side bonus - Just having it in the house scares the hell out of the mother-in-law.
