I've been dry firing and noticing my technique. I was pulling too much on the trigger, I guess to take up the slack, and putting way too much finger in the guard. The pencil trick showed me how much finger I actually needed to "pull" rather than jerk the trigger.Guess i need to learn/unlearn some things, along with getting some trigger work done...just don't like the long travel before release. Next weekend I'll return to the range and try to put into practice what I now know.....This is a great site thanks guys!

Also, take a look at the sights and their alignment between some centering marks on the slide. Mine are visibly off, and it shoots left about 6 in @ 10yds for three shooters...including a lefty who should go the other way with the same trigger problem. I haven't decided yet to send back for service or just have new tritium sights installed...in the middle of the slide.
