Well kids, I got myself an XD45C a while back and really liked it. i lurked here and learned all sorts of good stuff.

Then something bright and shiny passed by me.........a local wanted to trade a LNIB HK USPC 9mm for a 45acp pistol. Well I've looked fondly at HK's but never wanted to pay for one, so I bit. Then i sat there dropping the 9mm shells into a peice of 45 brass and rattling them around thinking, 9mm can expand, but 45 won't shrink.

Long story short, an HK 45USPC, two SA Champions have come and gone since, and I just 2 days ago thought I'd try a Glock G30 again (have had two before-I just keep trying the same thing expecting different results).
Well the 48hrs I've had it reminded me enough why I haven't kept a Glock.

Anyway I saw a guy score a screaming deal on an XD45C on a local forum. It was such a good deal, I figured he just snatched it for that reason, and hey, maybe he doesn't even like XD's. I PM'd him offering the G30 as trade for the XD45C w/Comptac attatchment, Safariland dual retention, and Uncle Mikes (nice to keep it in in the safe, but not carry) holsters plus all the stuff that comes with the XD's new.

Happily I was right, and I'll be swapping for my XD45C tomorrow

Anyway, thought I'd check back in and reaffirm that next to me 1911's the XD45C is the best pistol for me (and the ONLY polymer striker fired gun I've liked)!

Now where's my link for Springer..............?????

Thanks, been busy with Rifle Silhouette as my main shooting pastime this past year and a half..........something about a steel ram going over when you shot 500m offhand on your own two feet, no sling no nada, that has to be experienced! I built highpower and smallbore silhouette rifles (just as fun, 'cause the rams are only the size of index cards or so at 100m with the 22's) with my expendable income, so i've been looking for an XD45C to trade for, but people get them and keep 'em!

I can't wait to get one back in my possesion tomorrow, I should have never let the first one go!!

Nice pic!

Well I got my 45C, and went by C&S holsters and had them make me an IWB holster and a mag carrier while I waited.

Everything is right in the world again.
