New XD .45
Just took delivery today on a NIB .45 XD Tactical SS/Blue...
 ....will be at the range Friday AM to qualify with it for duty use...but wearing it now, just to see how it feels!  |

Awesome! However, there has been so many new .45 owners lately ammo prices will surely go up again!

Welcome and congrats on the XD45!
All of these new XD45s, it's pretty amazing when you consider a lot of guys are switching away from the .45 due to ammo price increases. But the XD45s keep selling, and selling, and selling. That says something about the gun I think. I wonder how many would be selling if you could still buy 100rnds for only 18.97 instead of 28.97 (and 18.97 wasn't that long ago!!)

I stopped at Precision Delta in Ruleville MS today and was told that they were only supplying .45 to the military. They also said that many other manufacturers were doing the same. Might explain some of the price hikes and lack of availability.
