I never said anything about restricting rounds.

That's right, it's not. Unfortunately, you won't know you're in over your head until it's too late so I guess you aren't qualified either.

If the answer to those questions isn't obvious to you I don't know why I should even try to answer them. Cops get paid to put themselves in positions where they might have to use their guns. There is a good chance they might end up in a shootout. What percentage of CCW holders have had to pull and use their gun? What percentage of cops have had to pull and use theirs? Duh.

So your trapped in a room that provides cover and/or concealment and you're just going to be blasting rounds away with reckless abandon? If you've got cover you've got time to reload. If they are an immediate threat, as in 5-10 ft away, and you can't get them with 14 rds, what makes you think the extra 4 will matter?

No argument there.

Again, I don't care how many you load. For my $20 I'd rather have another mag. Maybe if I was carrying all the mags I could and still didn't feel safe enough I would look at these things.

In competition they might actually have a practical use because you could go through X rounds without losing as much time reloading. If you find yourself in a fire fight at the mall I really doubt having 4 more in the mag is going to matter if you didn't get all the bad guys with the first 14.
Wow, I'd give anything to have the time to respond like that.

Hey if you want to put a 30rd. mag in your XD it's fine with me.
I think the point was for the same 20$ you could have 13rds. instead of 4.
Options are a good thing to have.
One size doesn't fit all.

You are among like minded friends here,
