Kahr sights on XD?

Who makes the wonderful stock sights for the Kahr? I love that bar in the rear sight notch and dot in the front sight. Who makes Kahr sights? Are they available for an XD? I know the Heinie Straight Eights are good - and available as night sights, but I really like how clear the standard sights are for the Kahr. Any suggestions?

If you are talking about the sights with the shallow "V" in the rear...those are XS Sights.

Nope.

The Kahr sights have a notch (like regular post and notch set up). In the base of the rear sight there is a vertical bright white bar. In the front sight there is a bright white dot. The Heinie Straight 8s have one dot on the front and rear sight, which when lined up form the number 8.

The Kahr sights have the post and notch configuration which is superior for accuracy to the XS big dot set up which features the shallow V rear sight but no real notch to use for sighting.

The Kahr sights are just perfect and remind me a great deal of the standard Sig sights of bar rear sight and dot front. I wish I could find that configuration for the XD.

IIRC...stock Sig sights fit XD's...

Also, Novak night sights can be ordered in the Bar-Dot configuration.

SIG sights will fit XDs.

Just got off the phone with Novak. They don't make the bar - dot night sight configuration for the XD. Oh well.

Check out the XS "Big Dot" sights. They will be functionally similar (And people here seem to like em).

When I am ready to start modifying my XD, it will be off to springer precision for XS sights and a trigger job...

I was seriously considering getting the Big Dots, but after listening to folks on this forum far more experienced than I, I won't be getting the Big Dots. Instead I'll likely be getting the Heinie Straight 8 slant pro night sights.

Here are a couple of threads really worth reading and reflecting upon:
http://www.xdtalk.com/forums/polling-place/63102-night-sights-heinie-xs-big-dot.html
Refit existing factory barrel for match grade accuracy

I will be sending my XDs to Springer for the trigger work and Heinie Straight 8s.

Has anyone tried the Advantage Tactical Sight?Advantage Tactical Sight . The inverted "v" and contrasting front sight look like they would be so much easier to acquire than the 3 dot stock sights.
What replacement sights seem to be the consensus favorites for the XD? Both night or standard.
My buddy has Heine tritium sights on his 1911 and Hates them (dim in the dark, hard to acquire in daylight)- having shot it I agree!
I'm leaning toward TFO's or the Advantage (not a night sight but looks very easy to acquire) any advise ?
