I didn't mean to infer that they are one in the same. I was simply trying to state Springer or Bobs, as they address the pre-travel issue in the same way.

Oh and Daniel at PRP now offers a kit that includes the Canyon Creek springs and the safety lever, drill bit and set screws.

sorry for the confusion

Are you sure Daniel is using CC springs?

Could you could elaborate and educate? We all like to learn. That's why we're here and why we ask questions.

It has to do with working properly over the line of XD's and not breaking. E-mail if you want picts of the later.

Trigger Job

I used the Springer kit.. Excellent quality. It is not a drop-in and does take some time and thought. There are excellent instruction here on this site with great pics as well. I am very pleased with the results.

However, if you doubt yur abilities, send it to Springer and they will get it done.

Good point, the trigger bar is file fit, the sear does not need adjustment to maintain the proper sear to striker engagement or engagement of safeties.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your kit

Thanks for the correction. Am I correct in saying that both replace the sear as opposed to the PRP kit replacing the safety lever?

I can not comment on the Springer Kit, but for me the PRP kit and the Canyon Creek Springs had the most effect. You will have to do additional polishing and fitting to get maximum results, that is why tuning done by knowledgeable gunsmiths may turn out the best results. They know exactly where and how much to polish and other little tricks. Something you need to keep in mind is you are dealing with parts that are critical to the function and safety of your gun and too much or improper fitting can render the gun unsafe or non-functioning.
