Good looking gun. Personal opinion, and I'm ordering a compact on Monday, but I think the proportions are off in the appearance of the service model. The grip is too long for the overall length of the gun. I like aesthetically pleasing guns, like a good hi-power, 1911, new service, colt detective, M-29, super blackhawk, etc. Barrels should be longer than grips.
Granted; that has no effect on it's intended purpose.  |

I recently bought the 45 in black/Flat Dark Earth. It is one nice piece. Looking at it I kind of wish I bought the SS version. |
