MO, take an 8hr class and pass a proficiency test cost as low as $50 and upwards of $125. Take your certificate of training to your local Sheriff's office, pay upwards of another $100 (depends on the County and how much of an a$$ your sheriff is), get fingerprinted, go through a background check and wait upwards of 90 days to get your permit (also, dependent on how much of an a$$ your sheriff is). Take your ccw to your DOR and get your endorsement on your DL or on a non-DL ID card.
Renewals every 3yrs involve a $50 fee to your local Sheriff, they do another cursory background check and issue a certificate of renewal. May take 48hrs. Take your certificate to your DOR and get another endorsement on an ID. |

VA: Must provide proof of proficiency (CC class, hunter education, etc.), fill out the form and submit it to the circuit court (or sheriff's dept. in my case), wait up to 45 days, pay up to $50 ($35 for me...and $1 to laminate lol) and get your shiny new piece o' paper. In my locality no fingerprinting was required.

Florida. Pay 60 bucks for your 2 hour course, and put 5 of 8 shots on a target at 7 yards. Prints/pictures/certificate. pay your 135 bucks.
To renew, just fill out renewal paperwork, and 75 bucks(If I remember correctly)

To add to jblakk's post on Florida:
To renew - Fill out paperwork, passport pics for ID and it was $117.00 to renew, good for 5 years.

here you gotta take a handgun safety course which was 50 dollars then get finger printed fill out some paper work pay 65 dollars wait up to 45days

NH you just get fill out a form, get your background check, pay your fee, and you can walk out with it that day if the chief of police is there. Got to love it Live Free Or Die.

Mississippi - Application, Fingerprints, Photo, Pay about 130.00 and wait 120 days. Open your mailbox and BAM!, there it is. Renew in 4 years. Go back to HP office and pay money, take picture, and get ur new card right then. Renewal is 75.00 I think.
