XD 45C brand new
I have just purchased this gun. WOW!!!! I only have 2 boxes of WWB through it and one box of 230 TAP. it is now going to be my choice for carry. By the way, and I can feel the heat coming, I traded an HK for this gun. The reasoning:
1. I have many 1911s. The grip just feels right 2. NO issues of recoil control with full boogie 230 +p loads 3. What a value!! 4. Accurate so far. I am looking forward to experimenting with different loads and seeing what the tack drivers are. 5. The ability to use the 13rd mag if I need to. |

The .45 compact has lousy ergos IMHO. I tried both back straps. The feel just was never right. It was also to smooth for my liking.

I have a compact and didn't like the way my pinkie was flapping in the wind holding it . . . solved the issue with a pearce grip extension
Love my XD's

Have two of the XD45Cs, one in 4" and the other the 5" version. Also have a XD40 Tactical and will soon add another XD to the collection, just haven't completely decide which one.
