Well, I just recently picked up my third XD45.

While I've been very happy with the first two I bought, this one is a disappointment. It shoots about 6" high at about 15 yards.

Now, I was planning to swap out the stock sights, anyway. However, I'm not really wanting to spring for more expensive sights if they're going to be off, too.

Has anyone else had this problem? What have you done about it? And is this something that SA might be willing to correct?

Springfield would probably fix it for you for free.

If you did buy aftermarket sights, you could get adjustable ones so either way it's no problem (is this a tactical?).

Have you had someone else fire your gun? I thought the same thing with my PX4 Storm Type C which is constant action. I noticed that I would shoot pretty low and I tried other handguns if another PX4 Storm which had a regular trigger on it. The Type C has no safety besides the trigger safety which has a longer trigger pull.

After having one of the guys at the range test my gun when I was convinced that mine shot low it ends up it was me the whole type and I just wasnt used to the trigger especially the reset.

Are the first 2 guns you bought 45ACP? Are you shooting factory rounds or reloads? Have you tried bench resting the gun? Need to know these things before we can start to answer your question. I can tell you that neither of my XD45s shoot high with factory FMJ rounds but they do shoot a little high with Pow'RBall defense rounds.
