My guess is the high gun show prices. Nothing new there. Heck, the ammo is WAAY over priced in most every caliber I've ever looked at (the stuff I know well, at least). XD's are out-selling Glocks in S. Texas, based on input face to face with gun store managers and sales people (incl the ones that don't like XD's).
