I have a Blackhawk Serpa and I like it a lot for OWB carry. Mine came with belt and paddle attachment, although I almost exclusively use the paddle attachment. I also have a Dakota Defender from K&D Holsters. Very nice holster, and extremely comfortable. Only problem is four month lead time.

Here is another vote for the K&D Defender. It is my EDC with an XD45 compact.

I have to agree with Boomerzz, I have several Don Hume holsters. Inexpensive not cheap holsters.

K&D Holsters

I have 5 K&D's. I have 4 Dakotas for my 1911's (2 Ed Browns, Wilson Combat CQB, Les Baer Super Tac, and Springfield Mil-Spec, and Sig P200). Forget the 4months, they are not only worth it, they are some the best made and any price. Kevin simply makes the best holster for the money out there. I just ordered my 6th one for my new XD 45 safety. The gun will be my #1 carry after that. I was at Front Sight last weekend and there were more XD's than Glocks or 1911's. The reliability and accuracy considering heat and sand was stupendous. A lot used the Kydex holster because of training techniques, but many said they would go home and use IWB holsters.

K&D Dakota Defender, there is a 4 month Order Ship Time; so I'm using a Galco Sto and Go in the Interim.

A high quality weapon deserves a high quality holster.

You get what you pay for.

My preference for IWB: Milt Sparks Holsters

My preference for OWB: mitch rosen gunleather

I have a Gun-Works IWB & a Galco SkyOps tuckable for my .45 Service. I'm very pleased with both.
