Get the model you want at the price you want. That's two out of three (price demands, model demands, color demands).

Then paint it whatever color you want. For the frame, you can paint that with Krylon or Krylon Fusion. Or you can go the more expensive route and lose some of your cost advantage buying the airbrush and duracoat. But, you will have the added benefit of being able to get exactly whatever color/pattern you want. And the airbrush will be another tool in your armorer's tool kit.

I too want a 45c in od, but for that price I would get a black one without a second thought. I sure wish I could find a deal like that here in central Arkansas.

You can get a large bottle of Moly Resin in OD green for only $25 shipped to your door!!

Then you can mix and match your black weapon and have OD green with Black accents. Best of both worlds. It's Air Dry and works amazingly. Plus that one bottle is enough to do 3 rifles

Without a doubt I would buy the XD45 Compact for that price, heck for that price I'd buy 2. I payed more than $100 more for mine and I could not be happier with the gun. I never thought color would be a deal breaker when there was $100 difference in price. The only place I know of in Michigan than could sell them at that price is Jan's in Clare.
