XD 45 Tactical in OD?
Hello to all you SA fans out there. I am new to XDTalk but not to the shooting sports. Today I cruised down to my local gunrunner and spyed an awesome XD45 Tactical in Olive Drab. I handled it and was incredibly well balanced and just pointed perfectly( Shhh! I must be quite I don't want my glocks jealous). The price is right and I would really love to own this gun. I have only one reservation. I own a SA M1a loaded with JAE stock and an urban cammo SOCOM II as well as a SA 1911 that I have customized. All three are exceptional weapons. I have even owned an HS 2000 in 9mm some years ago but sold it because of the excessive failures to eject. When I sold it, I didn't know that much about guns and didn't know how to troubleshoot the problem and got a higher price for it as well. I know SA makes a stand up product, but has anyone had any similar problem or has heard of someone who has? I remember the accuracy of that 2000 and would assume that the 5inch tac would be even more impresive. Like I said, the fte of the HS is my only reservation with this current purchase. Thanks in advance and have been very impressed with the knowledge, professionalism, and kindness shown in 99% of the posts I have read

I think you'll kick yourself if you don't buy it. Mine loves eating ammo with no FTF or FTE's.
An OD XD-45 Tactical Compact is next on my wish list. I love these XD's!!! Before I owned one, I swore I would only own Glocks. After I purchased an XD-45C in FDE instead of a Glock 21. I'm sold. I'm still wondering if in the near future the Glock 27 might have to be traded away for a XD9SC.

I think you are absolutely right. I was able to shoot a friends today at the range and felt like a kid making a list for Santa, only I am not waiting till Xmas to get this gun. Absolutely no problems whatsoever and accuracy was perfect to me. I will get it; no more reservations.
