Hey guys, in case you didnt notice, I posted new pictures on a new thread called "Pics of Internal Parts of Thumb Safety" because a few of you wanted to see the internal mechanisms around the safety. Tried my best with the pics so check them out and let me know what you think. Not quite sure how the thumb safety works mechanically (internally speaking) in correlation to engaging the sear. Maybe you guys will be able to tell from the photos. I'm still kinda new to all this. Enjoy!

Slide LOCK not slide stop. When the safety is engaged it will also prevent the slide from being racked back.

Any ideas if it is interchangable with a NON-thumb safety slide? and of course you would lose the safety feature, but still use the gun as if it was a standard XD?
