Holster Taclight Compatable

Does Anyone Know Who Makes A Holster That Will Except A Taclight Attached To The Weapon For Duty Carry For The Xd .45 Duty & A Glock 21 With A M3 Light Attached? M3 Would Also Be Attached To The Xd. I Have Only Found A Safariland, Thats What I Currently Carry With The Glock, But I Want Something Different For Both.

I met a Leo in town that owns a gun shop, and carries a Glock 21. He uses Blade-Tech with a TLR-1. He told me a somewhat horror story of getting in his truck wearing the holstered Glock with an M-3 attached. Somehow the light was switched on when he got in his personal vehicle. Somewhere in the 10-15 minute range he began to smell smokeand feel a little warm in his trousers. He pulled over and the light was in close enough proximity to his leather seats to start burning a hole in it. Bad enough he had to douse it with a can of soda.

I Did Almost The Same Thing One Night Right After Getting The Safariland Issued. I Cleared A Building, Found The Badguy And Didnt Turn The Light Off When I Reholstered. After The Guy Was Handcuffed I Put My Hand On My Holster With My Little Finger On The Cap At The End Of The Holster And Discovered How Melted Plastic Feels Against Bare Skin. Still Have The Scar. Live And Learn I Guess.

I just got a Blade-Tech for my XD-45/XML combo but I don't know if it is considered a "duty holster" or not. Naturally it works with all the other XDs with or without a light. M3 is probably one of the light options.
