To the OP...
I have not come across anyone making reduced power recoil springs for the service. Since the Tactical is the popular choice with most gamers, it has been the one that everyone makes different springs for.

Wolff only makes springs for the Tactical (5") in 45acp...

Um, guys, I was kinda just asking if there was one out there. Thanks for all of your "expert opinions" though. And in case anybody cares, no, there isn't any yet.

I think quoting the expert opinions is a bit rude, don't you think? These people are trying to help you not be an idiot and damage your gun or hurt yourself.

If you're going to ask a question which could lead to damage or injury, be thankful someone spoke up for you. If you don't like the answer, don't post here. Being rude and inconsiderate is not acceptable.

Those who have spoke up cautioning you on spring weights know what they're talking about. Lowering the spring weights are made for either modified guns which have had slide lightening done to them or for reduced power hand loads. That's not an expert opinion, it's a fact.

If you have a problem with the spring weight for hand cycling and you're using factory ammunition, hit the weight room. That's your solution.

Yes, changing springs is a tried and true method for dialing in a gun to a certain load, but changing out a recoil spring simply to make the gun easier to cycle by hand is not necessarily wise. Based on the input from the OP, it appeared that the only reason was to make the gun easier to cycle by hand.
Where did he say that he wanted it so it would be easier to cycle by hand, I read all the post and not seeing it?

No mention of the spring causing issues with light charge loads, just that the spring is "freaking heavy". Heavy springs usually only cause one of two problems, harder to hand cycle the slide or too heavy for mouse fart loads to cycle the action.

Very well said, Kratzer!
