It looks nice. Any chance of getting a top down / bird's eye view of the extension on the pistol. I like the profile shots, but I am having a hard time getting a feel for it without looking down like I was holding it.

We made it for lefties in mind also!!!!...My buddy Don E. who helped us make these is a lefty. He likes to use his trigger finger to charge the weapon..With the shelf we have made on this Extended slide stop it makes it VERY easy to charge your weapon..

so, what i am getting is that this is extended to the rear and laterally as well. so this helps with leverage by being longer and helps with "grab" by being a bunch thicker, but not to the point that it won't fit into current holsters, right?

so, if i have this right, it seems like the thing is all positive with no negatives (unless you count giving away your money)

very cool, i like it. too bad i have a bi-tone...
YOU ARE CORRECT extended front, back, with a shelf and a INTENDED CANT!!!...$$$$ is the negative sorry...We will make hard chromed ones in a bit

Quite an improvement

Thanks to the XDGuys. Ordered the new slide lock on the 26th and it was delivered today the 29th. Installed in a matter of minutes. Ran through my basic dry practice malfunction clearances with ease. Had my left handed daughter do the same. She was able to release the slide with her trigger finger on the new slide lock. The final test was to see if the fit was ok with my new Silent Thunder IWB holster, and so far it seems just fine.
