Will it interfere with holsters? i have a G-Code kydex that is form fitted for the factory profile.Just wondering if you guys have tested it with different holster styles?Looks like a promising item.i would definately be intetrested in one for both my XDs.i agree with DK about the factory unit being a little difficult to depress.

Put "" at the end and they magically appear as pictures and not links.

Nice. This would be very good considering I have a hard time activating the slide stop on occasion.

Looks a little rough, but I suppose that's to be expected for a prototype.

Agreed looks rough, but excellent and well needed concept. Thanks for keeping us in the loop with innovative XD ideas!

I'm thinking I'd benefit more from the "extension" away from frame rather than extension toward the breach. My real need is for traction in moving the release down, maybe closer to design of the 1911 release?

YES I have personally tested it in many types of holsters made for the XD.Had fun at local Cabellas in Post Falls ID (with permission) and The Sharp Shooter here in Spokane. It is rough now but it will be smoothed up and polished....THIS Piece is one of a kind hand made. The local machinest who made this a very talented guy.

The shelf extended only is a way to go also. I have expermenting with a few designs like that.It helps get a grip on the slide release for sure. By extended the release going straight back though REALLY takes alot less pressure to depress...We will see. I will guareanty that you love it or your money back . Plus lifetime warranty to original owner.
