I Can't Help It - New Compact Pics!
Sweeet! I have a Service already and wanted a compact for carry. We have to test with each gun we want on our CCW and I'm taking the class Saturday so I had to get one pronto. No one had them but Las Vegas Gun Range got one in in one day and I picked it up today:
Oops - oh wait I'm in NV! LOL  All the stuff - comes with a 10rd mag for carry and a 13rd backup:  Here's the differences in grip sizes, the Service in back has a 13rd mag in it and the Compact has a 10rd mag. About 3/4'" shorter.  Both again:  Gratuitous Strider pic!   With Insight X2 light/laser:  Same thing with Rafter S leather and Elephant holster:  If it shoots like the Service I'll be happy as I can hit anything with that one. Hope to get out and shoot it Thursday! For Vegas people, LV Gun Range on Blue Diamond Rd. is excellent with real friendly staff. I'll be going back there!

I hope you like yours as much as I do mine. May I be so bold as to suggest you at least consider adding a Pearce grip extension to your XD. I did and i have large hands and adding a Pearce grip extension made a huge difference in ho well over all I handeled and shot my XD40 SC HC.

I've never had good luck in that place their prices on some things are out of line. It looks like you scored though, very nice pics thanks for sharing!

Love my XD45 compact.
Do you have to do your range test with the actual pistol you intend to carry? Here we either test with a Semi-auto or a revolver. If you use the semi (of any kind), you can carry either. If you use a revolver, you can only carry a revolver.. I believe the semi has to be at least a .380, I think.

Yep, we have to test with each gun we want on the permit. Sucks!
heffa, I had never been in there before and they were really outstanding. I looked at some used shotgun prices and sniggered some but overall I was real happy.
