Need Help On Final Decision
Need Help On Final Decision. I'm ready to purchase either the Compact 5" or Tact. 5". I know this a beaten to death topic, but please list any problems "PROBLEMS" only you have had with these models. Thanks in advance.

The only problem I have with my tactical is that its probably a little to big for carry. Other than that, I dont have any complaints. Oh, and once I get my holster I will try to carry anyways to see if it looks ok.

The compact 5" will probably be tough to find in my area.

Those two answers are the best you'll get: if you want to CCW, the 5" is a bit long and slower to draw.
If you don't want it for CCW, why get the compact? And... you aren't gonna find one and if you do, it'll be more expensive. YMMV

The 4 inch compact 45 carries like a 23 Glock and it is easy to conceal I think the 5 inch would be harder especially when you sit down and other odd positions.

I carry my XD45 Compact Tactical all the time for CCW (IWB). Sorry, can't think of any problems
If you think you might EVER have the need to carry, get the Comp Tac. Bud's gun shop has them for $541 delivered to your FFL.

Either way, 4" or 5", get the compact. It will come with a full sized mag and an extension to make it the same size at the standard service or tactical. It's a no brainer.

You will like either, but I favor the Tactical 5 inch.

I dont have any problem with CC of my Tatical 5inch in fact it goes every where I do. I just dont see why the extra inch would cause every one such a huge problem.
