Does anyone know if there is a lanyard attachment made for the XD?

Is this to dangle it around your wrist or around your neck like a camera?

well no

but an XD necklace would be kind of nice. You know if you had a bi-tone XD. You could have a little bling. No really I am looking for a way to secure the pistol to my belt in case I drop it again. I almost lost it in the woods last weekend. The only way I found it is the orange mag bottom.

Maybe you could rig something that if you drop it, the lanyard triggers the mag release and the mag drops. Like jet skis, or the treadmills at the gym! Unless you have one in the chamber!

Try a search, it's been discussed here before, but I don't recall the specifics of it.

IIRC it involved epoxy, and an screw in eyelet.....

you could take a little eye screw or something and fill the hole in the grip with JB weld and insert the screw into the epoxy and then when it dries you will have a lanyard loop however it would be quite difficult to remove but you could cut the screw off and sand it smooth
one other thing is that you wouldnt be able to put a magwell on it if you did this
