Monarch Ammunition 45 acp

Hey Folks,

I did a search and came up with nothing. Has anyone on here ever used the Monarch Ammunition sold at Academy Sports? If so what are your thoughts?

Thanks

I've used it in 9mm... Checked all the dimensions and weights, and its EXactly the same as WWB winchester white box... plus its real cheap... I pickup a few boxes anytime I'm at academy... Also I've never had any failures or problems with it...

I've used it, accuracy is not too bad and they're a little dirty but they are the cheapest I've found so I can't complain.

I've used probably close to 1k rounds of the stuff at one time. It worked and I didn't have a single malf. The only thing some folks may not like is it's laquer coated where WOLF is starting to move to polymer coatings that are sopoused to be superior.

The extra dirtiness I noticed when shooting it was the red primer sealer that tended to come off on the slide.

What I shot of it wasn't laquer coated, and didn't have any noticeable primer sealer...

Good for the range, but little else. I haven't had any problems with it, but it is really dirty.

I use the .45 and .40 for range rounds and have never seen a laquer coated rnd. I know the 7.62x39 rifle ammo is laquered and has the red seal on the primer, but even that stuff works flawlessly through my AK clone.

The stuff I shot was 9mm not 40 or 45. It looked just like laquer coated wolf but was in a monarch box.
