Cleanest powders for .45acp and .40S&W

I am getting back into reloading for my 45acp, 40S&W, .38/.357 after about a ten year absence and would greatly appreciate suggestions on what are the cleanest burning most consistant metering, consistant velocity powders for the above mentioned calibers. I amnot all that interested in max FPS just good solid accurate target/plinking loads produced by a clean burning powders that are easy to work with.

Thank you,
Arthur.

My favorites are Allaint (formerly Hercules) Bullseye & Unique. Bullseye works good in short barreled guns with minimal residue.

IMHO
