No More 45 Acp??????
I was just at my local gun shop and picked up the new '08 XD catalog. NO 45 ACP LISTED!!!!!! All the 45 caliber XD's were 45 GAP???? Are they really getting rid of the 45 ACP???? The website still has the old catalog on the download catalog link. Anybody know if Springfield is really not offering the XD in 45 ACP anymore????
THE SITUATION HAS BEEN RECTIFIED. I CALLED MY DEALER AND HE HAD PUT OUT OLDER XD CATALOGS!!!! MY APLOGIES TO ALL. THE 45ACP IS ALIVE SAFE AND WELL. JUST FOR THE RECORD I JUST PICKED UP A TACTICAL IN 45ACP!!!!!!!

I havent heard anything about that. I am going in to my gun shop tomorrow I'll ask them if they know anything. If they drop 45ACP that will really hurt them I think.

That must be jacked up. They dropped the .45GAP a while ago but not .45ACP. I don't know why they would drop the .45GAP just to pick it back up again.

Any handgun manufacturer dropping the 45APC deserves what they get...
Especially one that pretty much was born from the loin of the 45APC... Must be a misunderstanding. Was there a seperate book, or ad for the XD-45? Sometimes it's treated like a completely different handgun.

No way would they drop the 45acp. I won't believe it till i see it.

Gotta be a mistake, when people shoot my XD .45ACP Tactical they all LOVE IT and can't believe it costs around $525.
{I do forget to mention it's got a CC competition trigger job haha}

not happening, it's been WAY too successful. The very first thing on the SA website is the 45Compact. Some sort of goof-up on the O.P.s part.

I would find that very hard to belive 45 ACP would have to be A BIG part of their market...
